100 Projects of Summer in the Wallace-Buckley House

So, at the begining of this summer, I decided to take the whole semester off of school. In the mean time, I thought it would be lovely to do some work around the house. I have decided to do 100 projects of Summer!


Here is the official list of the 100 projects of Summer! If some of these are on your list, let me know! I will try to list important information I learned while doing my projects! If you see one you have already done, I would appreciate any helpful advice you can provide!




  1. Finish the man loft
  2. Finish the outlet in the man loft.
  3. Complete electrical work in basement. (yes, I have my permit!)
  4. Demolish wall in basement. (The one where the cabinet is.)
  5. Finish Emma's Floor.
  6. Finish our Floor.
  7. Lay floor in basement. (sticky tile)
  8. Mud walls in basement
  9. Paint walls in basement
  10. move stuff into the basement
  11. make White Sox collate for man loft
  12. Make slip cover for man loft
  13. Fishing Emma's Blanket
  14. Fishing Purses I started. (check out WWW.SHARIBYDESIGN.ETSY.COM)
  15. Move sewing room to new studio
  16. Move small guest room into the new BIG guest room.
  17. Clean out gravel from backyard.
  18. Move grill into back yard. (yes, an easy one for Jeff.)
  19. Clean off porch.
  20. Set up Jeff's computer in new sewing room.
  21. Clear out Emma's Closet
  22. Clear out Bathroom closet
  23. Clear out our closets
  24. Organize hall closet
  25. Re-Weathering all Windows.
  26. Weather strip both doors.
  27. Clean out garage.
  28. Have garage sale. (Saved for last)
  29. Clean out truck. (IF IT WOULD STOP RAINING)
  30. Build pet station.
  31. Clean out Jeff's trunk. (see notes by #18)
  32. Make curtains for bedroom.
  33. Paint bedroom.
  34. Get/Build bookcase for Man Loft
  35. Install lights in Man Loft.
  36. Paint spare bedroom.
  37. Paint Old sewing room. (Now the BIG guest room)
  38. Reorganize Kitchen cabinets
  39. Fix window in bathroom
  40. Get rug for living room.
  41. Fix Refrigerator. (It tips forward)
  42. Install swing on tree.
  43. Clean out refrigerator! (like New!!!!)
  44. Send out Thank You Letters!
  45. Get gravel for driveway.
  46. Get auto feed/water for cats.
  47. Put ceiling on basement.
  48. Make laundry Chute. (yes, I want one, do I know how......no....)
  49. Set up Hokey Table.
  50. Build bar in basement.
  51. Make closet in basement
  52. Make Buckley sign for the front of the house.
  53. Trans plant Lilacs into the front yard, and side yard.
  54. Kill grass on fence line!
  55. Plant grass in yard.
  56. Preserve wedding dress.
  57. Take gowns to Elegant Repeats.
  58. Make opening for doghouse, under the porch.
  59. Take down shelves in basement
  60. Dust ceiling fans. (another for Jeff)
  61. Redecorate the Bathroom.
  62. Fix under the bathroom sink.
  63. Set shelves in basement for blue glass.
  64. Set up salt water tank in Emma's room. (not till the floor is good to go)
  65. Refill the Fresh Water Tank.
  66. Make my Mommy a mothers day present.
  67. Plant flowers around mail box.
  68. Repainting trim in living room.
  69. Repaint trim in hallway
  70. Lay trim in family room.
  71. Lay trim in studio.
  72. Fix roof on shed.
  73. Clean willies tank
  74. Clean out gutters.
  75. Trim Boswer.
  76. Fix living room clock.
  77. Refinish Video Game chair.
  78. Make collage for Living room.
  79. Put trellis on back porch
  80. Put gate on walk way between garage and house.
  81. Cut down branches between fence and house
  82. Build entertainment center for family room.
  83. Display Veil
  84. Get lights for veil display.
  85. Move couch upstairs.
  86. Shampoo floors upstairs.
  87. Get lazy Susan for Table
  88. Build shelves for DVD's and CD's in basement
  89. Go through clothes. Donate ones we do not want. 
  90. Replace furnace filter.
  91. Fine/Fix leak in basement
  92. Fix Jeff's stain glass raider.
  93. Clean out living room closet.
  94. Spray weed killer on side yard.
  95. Spray pest killer in house.
  96. Make raincoat/ winter coat for dogs.
  97. Detail truck
  98. Detail car
  99. Reupholster stroller and car seat. 
  100. Clean outside of windows (per Jeff's Request?!?)
From here on out I will only refer to the projects by number not name! Kidding!!
